Fall Fundraiser

at Pleasant Grove Grange – 67218 Hunter Road, Summerville
Join in the fun as the community comes together to help raise funds for our track project. Pleasant Grove Grange graciously offered to share their annual fall fundraiser with us. Together we have created the 1st Annual Chili Cook-Off. It will be quite the fall extravaganza! It’s not only a chili cooking competition, but also a chili feed, and auction. All proceeds will be split 50/50 with the Grange and the Track Fund.
You can enter the contest, or just come feed your family. There will also be Imbler FFA fresh pressed apple cider for sale. It costs $10 to enter the contest, and you bring your best pot of chili to help feed the crowd. The winners will be chosen by vote. Awards will be given to 1st & 2nd place and to the spiciest chili. It costs $5 per person or $20 for a family to come taste and eat chili. That price includes tickets to cast votes for your favorites. The meal also includes corn bread muffins, toppings for your chili, and drinks.
The evening includes two different auctions. A silent auction will be happening during the first two hours. Silent auction items include gift certificates to local businesses, gift baskets, and homemade baked goods & desserts. A live dessert auction will take place starting at 6:30 pm. Auction items will be arranged for in advance, or will be accepted at the door.
